Author Biography

ELYSE FITZPATRICK (M.A., Trinity Theological Seminary) has been counseling women since 1989 and is presently a conference speaker and parttime counselor at the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship. She holds a certificate in biblical counseling from IBCD, and is a member of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. Elyse has authored eight books, and co-authored one Gold Medallion Book Award finalist.
LAURA HENDRICKSON (M.D., Michigan State University College of Human Medicine; diploma, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) is a biblical counselor and writer. She is co-author with Elyse Fitzpatrick and Jim Newheiser of When Good Kids Make Bad Choices.
