Author Biography

Francis Cardinal Arinze grew up in Nigeria, was ordained a priest in 1958 and later ordained to the episcopate at age thirty-two. When he was named a Cardinal, Francis Arinze became the first African Cardinal to head a Vatican office. He was the head of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. His biography, God's Invisible Hand, was published by Ignatius Press as well as his work Celebrating the Holy Eucharist.
