Author Biography

Mary Urrutia Randelman was born in Havana, Cuba, and emigrated in 1958 with her family to Miami, where she lived and went to school until she moved to New York City in 1967. She has worked as a food consultant in the restaurant industry and now writes cookbooks. Joan Schwartz is a writer and editor with a special interest in cookbooks. She has co-authored many books including Cooking Provence (Macmillan) with Antoine Bouterin and Bobby Flay's Bold American Food.
