Author Biography

Cal Muzikar is a graduate of Kean University in Union, New Jersey. A longtime resident of the Garden State, he was a public-school teacher and high school adolescent counselor before taking early retirement and moving to Sheridan, Wyoming.

Over the past fifteen years he has published two other novels. Last year, his second work of adult fiction, Exit West, was released. With the setting for the adventure story being the Big Horn Mountains, the book is popular with the locals. It is also on the shelves of nearly all public libraries in the state of Wyoming.

Memories Left Behind is his third novel and is an absorbing deep-dive into the challenges facing middle-age women and men, those confronting the stress of maintaining personal relationships, finding work-life balance, and the pursuit of contentment in the distorted landscape of our frenzied culture.
