Author Biography

Bonnie Bowman Thurston is the author of Philippians and Philemon, Preaching Mark, and Women in the New Testament. She lives in Wheeling, West Virginia. Thomas Merton was a writer and Trappist monk at Our Lady of Gethsemani Abbey in Kentucky. He is the author of more than 70 books, including such classics as New Seeds of Contemplation, The Seven Storey Mountain, and Zen and the Birds of Appetite.
