Author Biography

Marion Sturkey began his aviation career in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he flew both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. He later became a commercial pilot. Eventually leaving flying behind, he worked in the corporate world in various management capacities until his retirement in 1995. Full time, he now researches and writes books on military and aviation concerns.
