Forrest argues that because all of experience is only the perceptions of our brain, the fantasy worlds that we enter through books are every bit as real as what others claim as reality. Inspired by books such as Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien), Nine Princes in Amber (Roger Zelazny), and the series A Song of Fire and Ice (George R. R. Martin, and inspiration for the HBO television series, Game of Thrones).
