Author Biography

Chris Oxlade is an experienced author of nonfiction for children, including encyclopedia articles and fun activity books. Here, he has brought his knowledge of science and technology to bear on the increasingly technical world of medicine. Claire Jones is a museum professional specializing in the history of medicine. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on 19th century medical advertising and is working to establish a museum of health and medicine at the University of Worcester in England.
