Author Biography

John Koessler is the chairman of the pastoral studies department at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Before John began his career at Moody in 1994, he served as a pastor. He has written for Discipleship Journal, Leadership, Moody magazine, Decision, and Christianity Today, and has made numberous radio appearances. He is the author of True Discipleship, God Our Father, A Stranger in the House of God, and the general editor of Foundational Faith. Dr. Koessler and his wife, Jane, live in northwest Indiana and have two sons.
