Summary

When Mick Harrison writes a novel, he is suddenly thrust into the world of Hollywood screenwriters, sexually abusive producers, and gang-related murders. Things go awry when a female executive tries to rape him, and it seems no one will listen to his claims of innocence. Fortunately for Mick his wife Megan does believe him, but a set of events forces her to repeat a crime that she has kept hidden for over twelve years. She feels compelled to participate in a murder once again. She used to question whether people are never beyond all hope. Now she knows for sure. Sometimes they just are.

Author Biography

Keith Smith was born in Colorado Springs, CO. He is the elder son of career U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Billy Ray Smith and Joyce Smith. He typically moved, along with the rest of his family, including four siblings, Karen, Kevin, Karyl, and Kim, to different military posts in Colorado, Texas, Germany, and Alaska.

After graduating from Andress High School in El Paso, TX, Smith received a BS in Education from The University of North Texas and a MA in Mathematics from Texas Woman's University. He taught both high school and college level mathematics courses in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. He is currently retired and lives with his wife Mary Crafts in Casa Grande, Arizona.

His love of reading prompted him to try his hand at writing novels, though a few friends and family members have questioned his sanity. The sheer joy of putting words to paper has motivated this rising author and has kept his mind active and reawakened his senses. Keith Smith has discovered a newfound appreciation for the complex diversities of human nature and is looking forward to sharing his insights in his upcoming novels.
