Henriette Barbara Boudewijnse studied cultural anthropology at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, and specialized in religious studies at the State University of Groningen, the Netherlands Andre F. Droogers is professor in the anthropology of religion at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of Development of the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, the Netherlands Angela Hoekstra studied Cultural Anthropology at the Universtity of Utrecht, the Netherlands Frans H.
