Summary

Debbie Brisson) has trolled knitting patterns, advertisements and catalogues for the most groan-inspiring crimes against fashion ever to assault the senses; sci-fi inspired creations from the 1940s, gender-bending sweater sets from the '60s and the groovy outerwear of the '70s.

Author Biography

Stitchy McYarnpants is the nom de plume of mild-mannered computer programmer Debbie Brisson, who has made a splash on the Web with her "confessions of a husbandneglecting, cat-shooing, yarn-hoarding knitaholic" blog (yarnpants.blogspot.com) and Museum of Kitschy Stitches Web site (www.museumofkitschystitches.com). She lives in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
