Janet R. Barrett is the Marilyn Pflederer Zimmerman Endowed Scholar in Music Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Peter Webster is a Scholar-in-Residence in Music Education at the Thornton School. He is an Emeritus Professor at the Bienen School of Music, Northwestern University.
