Author Biography

In addition to writing many books for the We Both Read series, Sindy's credits include numerous children's television series and films, including Winnie the Pooh and Clifford, the Big Red Dog, for which she received a Humanitas Prize. She is also the recipient of Emmy Awards for her work on Jim Henson's Muppet Babies and several PBS series, including Jakers! The Adventures of Piggly winks. In between all that writing, Sindy has found time to raise two bright and beautiful children and maintain a wonderful marriage with her sometimes-writing-partner, Larry swerdlove, in Woodland hills, California.
