Author Biography

Jason R. Rich (www.JasonRich.com) is the author of more than 55 books that cover a wide range of topics. He also frequently contributes articles to major daily newspapers, national magazines, and popular websites, and is an accomplished photographer (www.JasonRichPhotography.com). One of his specialties is taking technical or complex information and presenting it in an easy-to-understand, interesting, and nontechnical way.

While his photography work continues to be featured within his books and articles, he’s also written several digital photography books, including iPad and iPhone Digital Photography Tips and Tricks (Que), My GoPro Hero Camera (Que), and How To Do Everything Digital Photography (McGraw-Hill). As a photographer, he specializes in travel photography, animal photography, and shooting headshots and portfolios for actors, recording artists, and professional models.

As an enrichment lecturer, Jason Rich regularly teaches classes and workshops about digital photography, how to use the iPhone and iPad, and how to safely use the Internet aboard cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and Princess Cruise Lines. These lectures are particularly enjoyed by senior passengers who appreciate the easy-to-understand, nonthreatening and fun approach each class or workshop takes.

Jason Rich also teaches similar but longer-length classes about digital photography through adult education programs offered in the Boston area. As a result, not only does he understand the wants and needs of seniors looking to learn more about digital photography, he has also developed an expertise sharing this knowledge to nontech-savvy people.

Currently, Jason Rich shares his travel adventures and photography with more than 13,700 Twitter followers (@JasonRich7) and is active on other social media services, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr.
