Summary

My Father's World is a memorial volume celebrating the life of Dr. Reuben G. Bullard and it focuses on the archaeology and history of the Mediterranean world. The essays in this volume are all written by former students of Dr. Bullard, and the diverse range of topics highlights his broad interests in geology, archaeology, and biblical studies. Bullard was a long time Professor of Geology and Archaeology at Cincinnati Christian University. He pioneered the field of Archaeological Geology in the 1960s at Tell Gezer.

Author Biography

John D. Wineland is Professor of History and Archaeology at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. He is the author of Ancient Abila: An Archaeological History (2001) and editor of The Light of Discovery: Studies in Honor Edwin M. Yamauchi (2007). Mark Ziese is Professor of Old Testament at Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the author of the College Press NIV Commentary on Joshua (2008). James Riley Estep Jr. is Professor of Christian Education at the Seminary at Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinois. He is the author of C.E: The Heritage of Christian Education (2003), Management Essentials for Christian Ministries (2005), and A Theology for Christian Education (2008).
