Summary

This essence of this book is what I've preached to my Grandchildren every opportunity I have. The reason I do so, is because the vital lessons Newt cites in 'A NATION LIKE NO OTHER' are being lost in today's schools and they must be returned and learned. The article in Chapter 6, titled 'PHILANTHROPY: FREEDOM'S WAY OF SPREADING THE WEALTH AROUND' is one of many perfect examples of how it 'should' be....and not how the current government is 'forcing' it to be. Words cannot explain how important this book is at this time in history. It's vitally important that it be used in schools to serve as a balance to the increasingly socialistic curriculum that is being taught. This book is vital to misguided young and older American adults who have been led to believe that that their country's exceptional greatness has been wrong. And this book is also important to those of us who have never wavered in the faith we have in our country. It reassures us that the country of our Founding Fathers is still there for us to protect and preserve. It further reassures us that those who have tainted her can be removed and replaced by true American leaders who will dust her off and restore her to her original glory again.

Author Biography

Speaker Newt Gingrich is well known as the architect of the "Contract with America" that led the Republican Party to victory in 1994. Newt and his wife Callista host and produce historical and public policy documentaries. Recent films include A City Upon a Hill: The Spirit of American Exceptionalism, Nine Days that Changed the World, and Ronald Reagan: Rendezvous with Destiny. As an author, Speaker Gingrich has published twenty-four books, including thirteen fiction and non-fiction New York Times bestsellers. He resides with Callista in McLean, Virginia, and has two daughters and two grandchildren.
