Summary

Travel back to ancient Egypt, visit the great pyramids, read about Cleopatra's life, and learn about mummies! Young readers can explore the amazing world of ancient Egypt in this Level 1, 2, and 3 reader collection that contains Ancient Egypt (Level 3), Cleopatra (Level 3), Mummies (Level 2), and Pyramids (Level 1). Fascinating information about ancient history is accompanied by striking photographs that pique kids' curiosity and inspire them to learn more about the natural world. National Geographic Readers have been a hit in the beginning reader category, and this book follows upon that success with the same combination of careful text, brilliant photographs, and the fun approach to high-interest subjects that has proved to be a winning formula with kids.
