Author Biography

Lara D. Nielsen is Professor in Theatre and Performance Studies, Macalester College, USA. Her performance research works amongst and between arts medias, as well as popular performance and participation medias privileging kinetic embodiments. Her articles appear in Text & Performance Quarterly, Scapegoat:Architecture/Landscape/Political Economy, Performance Research, Women & Performance, Contemporary Theatre Review, The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Studies in Law, Politics, and Society, and Law, Culture and the Humanities.

Patricia Ybarra is Associate Professor of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies at Brown University, USA. Her publications include Performing Conquest (2009), and articles in Theatre Journal, Radical History Review, Aztlan, Modern Drama and the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism. She is president elect of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education.
