Author Biography

Professional fly tier and long-time celebrity fly fishing guide Scott Sanchez started fly fishing and fly tying at the age of 12. He grew up in Salt Lake City and tried his self-taught fly fishing skills on the trout of the Wasatch front. At 14, he taught his first fly tying class. He is the author of two other fly tying books, A New Generation of Trout Flies and Tying Salt Water Flies. Scott originated the Double Bunny and many other patterns. He lives in Jackson, Wyoming, where he works at Jack Dennis Outdoor Shop.
