Author Biography

Zakir Ramazanov, Ph.D., a professor of plant biochemistry and molecular biology, whose achievements include his position as Chairman of Algal Biotechnology Development and his work in space biology and cultivation of photosynthetic organisms in space stations, and marine natural products from sea vegetable. He is the co-author of Arctic root (Rhodiola rosea) "The powerful new Ginseng Alternative" (1998). Dr. Maria del Mar Bernal Suarez obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Las Palmas, Spain. Her unique experience in analytical chemistry made possible the identification and introduction of genetically true and clinically researched species of Siberian Ginseng, Rhodiola rosea, and Rhododendron caucasicum. She is the co-author of Arctic root (Rhodiola rosea) "The powerful new Ginseng Alternative" (1998).
