Author Biography

"The Night Before Christmas" was written by Clement Clarke Moore in 1823, under the original title "A Visit From St. Nicholas."

David Ercolini was inspired to illustrate children's books while teaching elementary school art classes. Ercolini is the illustrator of NOT INSIDE THIS HOUSE!, written by Kevin Lewis. He won the Grand Prize at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators 2009 Winter Conference. He lives in New York City. Visit him at davidercolini.com.
