Author Biography

Nina A. Simonowicz was born in Duluth and has lived in various spots on the North Shore for most of her life. She currently runs a tourism marketing firm in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Betsy Bowen is author and illustrator of Antler, Bear Canoe: A Northwoods Alphabet Year, Tracks in the Wild, and Gathering: A Northwoods Counting Book.
