Author Biography

Pam Stenzel is the founder of Enlighten Communications, an organization that empowers parents, youth leaders and educators to lead informed discussions on sexual abstinence and its benefits. She speaks to over 500,000 teens a year, many of her invitations come from teens themselves. Sex Has a Price Tag, a book, curriculum and video Pam developed and produced, has won numerous awards and has been translated into 11 languages. Pam has appeared on FOX News, The 700 Club and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, just to name a few. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Melissa Nesdahl began work with Enlighten Communications in 2003 after graduating from Augustana College in 2001 with a degree in religion and psychology. In 2003, she completed a Master of Arts degree in biomedical ethics. Melissa has served as a crisis pregnancy counselor since 1999 and currently sits on the board of directors for Planning Life. Melissa wrote the leader's guide for Pam Stenzel's Love Lessons: Purity Is Possible series and has authored additional publications in the Chicago Tribune, Kyria, and SUSIE magazine. Melissa resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
