Summary

Closing a gap in the literature, this is the first comprehensive handbook on this modern and important polymer topic. Edited by highly experienced and top scientists in the field, this ready reference covers all aspects, including material science, biopolymers, gels, phase separating systems, frontal polymerization and much more. The introductory chapter offers the perfect starting point for the non-expert.

Author Biography

John A. Pojman is a Professor in the Macromolecular Science Division of the Department of Chemistry at Louisiana State University. He earned his doctorate in Chemical Physics in 1988 at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Pojman was a faculty member at The University of Southern Mississippi for eighteen years. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed publications.

Qui Tran-Cong-Miyata is Professor at Department of Polymer Science & Engineering at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and edited three monographs. His research interests are phase separation of polymer blends, polymer materials with nanofillers and spatio-temporal behavior of synthetic polymer systems.
