Summary

A diagnosis of breast cancer before the age of thirty had brought Patti, Jana, Jennifer, and Kim together for a monthly lunch at their local Nordstrom's cafe, but it was a desire to provide hope to others that would make them friends for life. The fruit of their lunchtime labor,Nordie's at Noonshares the personal stories of each of these courageous women. A source of humor, strength, inspiration, and education, the book is a celebration of friendship and of living life to the fullest. "A rare book that has the saddest of endings and yet still manages to be life affirming,"* it encourages women everywhere to be proactive with their health-and to realize that no one is "too young" for breast cancer.
