Author Biography

Tony Mitton is a popular children's poet, and author of the award-winning The Red and White Spotted Handkerchief (Scholastic). He has written a number of picture books including Bumpus Jumpus Dinosaurumpus and All Afloat on Noah's Boat (both illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees of Giraffes Can't Dance) and The Somethingosaur (illustrated by Russell Ayto). His other titles include collections of poetry for older children.
