Author Biography

Spencer Mawby is Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Nottingham, UK. He writes and teaches on the end of the British empire. His previous books include Containing Germany (Palgrave Macmillan, 1999) and British Policy in Aden and the Protectorates (2005).
