Author Biography

Tom Rosenbauer has been a fly fisher for more than thirty-five years. He has been with the Orvis Company for twenty-five years, and while there has been a fishing school instructor, copywriter, public relations director, and was editor of The Orvis News for ten years. He is currently a vice-president and manager of the Fly Fishing and Sporting Tradition catalogs at Orvis. Tom has fished extensively across North America and has also fished on Christmas Island, the Bahamas, and on the fabled English chalk streams. He has also been published in Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, Fly Fisherman, Sporting Classics, American Angler, The American Fly-Fisher, Fly Rod and Reel, Audubon, and others. Tom lectures on fly fishing from Maine to California. He lives in southern Vermont on the banks of a small trout stream
