On any given Sunday night, the news channels report on final scores of sports events. Civilian injuries or deaths are not included in the body count of military statistics, or negative political fall out. So to reduce these negative statistics, why not contract this job to civilian contractors, makes sense doesn't it. This book describes the journey of these independent contractors and identifies their role in this war against terror. Of course, each one has a different reason for accepting the job, most would say, money. For others, it would be the patriotic thing, and then for a few, the religious aspect that draws them like a magnet to this place once called the "Cradle of Civilization" or in Biblical days known as "Babylon."
