Otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery (ORL-HNS) is a surgical subspeciality that affects all age groups and covers a wide range of pathologies and treatments from the commonest of conditions seen in primary care to some of the rarest, requiring tertiary investigation and state of the art treatments. This makes it difficult for those training and working in ORL-HNS and its allied specialities to learn about and keep up to date with all its component parts.
