Summary

Learn to draw and paint 50 animals in no more than 12 easy stages!

Paint 50 Watercolour... is a new 'how-to-paint' series, echoing the success of the original How to Draw series. This book will focus on a range of animals, from popular pets to the wild ones; from friendly frogs and doting dogs to cantankerous crocodiles.

This title will teach you how to paint, over the course of 50 simple painting projects. Each animal appears over a double page spread, and take 8-12 steps to complete, from pencil drawings to the adding of watercolour. Marina sketches her animals first in the Procreate app, then prints the outline, traces it and adds the watercolour by hand.

Starting with a simple introduction, tools and materials and basic techniques section at the front but otherwise very few words on the pages: the steps will visually describe to the reader how to achieve the artworks. There will be some element of progression as the reader works through the book, with the easiest projects at the start.
