Ashby Egbert, a young man from wealthy upbringings, suffered an accident and was taken to the public hospital. While at the hospital he discovers a new world that he had no idea existed and begins to establish relationships with people who will reach out to help him as if he were one of them. When he leaves, he will be forever changed: he will have a more critical and social vision, from which he will find his true driving force: Amaya Chacel. She comes into his life to give it a new spin. His absolute devotion, his belief in ideologies, and his desire to change reality will make Egbert consider leaving everything behind if necessary.
