Summary

When a colorful butterfly flies into her messy bedroom, Penelope Rose is delighted. Entertaining her visitor in her pink play tent is far more fun than cleaning her room. Although she has good intentions, things get a little sticky before Penelope Rose realizes what needs to be done to set herself and the butterfly free.

The Penelope Rose series helps children learn important life lessons through wildlife's critters and creatures. In this first book of the series, Penelope Rose learns from a chance encounter with a butterfly, that cleaning her room is an important task that must get done. "Butterflies are Free" is an adorable children's book that parents, teachers, and children will love. It is beautifully illustrated as each page is filled with colorful and vibrant illustrations. This is a great book for early readers as the storytelling is poetic, playful, and fun.
