This second edition of The Penguin Dictionary of Plant Sciences is a substantially revised edition of the former Penguin Dictionary of Botany. To take into account rapid developments in the fields of taxonomy, biotechnology and laboratory techniques, it contains not only over 600 new entries but also an extensive re-working of many definitions.
