Author Biography

Harry Miller Lydenberg (1874–1960) was an author and book conservationist. As Director of the New York Public Library, he was an American liaison to the international library community.
American typographer and type designer Bruce Rogers (1870–1957) ranks among the greatest of 20th-century book designers. Rogers favored a classic style, and today his books fetch high sums at auction.
