Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) is unquestionably one of the most important and revolutionary artists of the 20th century. This book's man color-plates show how he transformed everyday, objects -- plates, bowls, and vases -- into art, and also, typically, invented completely new forms. Picasso kept most of his ceramics.
