Author Biography

Robert Horonjeff (deceased) was an internationally known consultant on airport design and professor of transportation engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

Francis X. McKelvey is professor of civil engineering at Michigan State University. He has also served as a consultant on transportation and airport planning to federal, state, and local agencies, as well as to private firms in the United States and abroad. He played a major role in the planning and design of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
