Alexa Kurzius writes and produces videos for Scholastic’s elementary STEM magazines. She’s been reporting since she was in the fourth grade, when she penned a picture book about penguins. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology and a master’s degree in science journalism. She lives in New York City with her husband.
