Summary

The contribution of this particular study lies in its being the first of its kind, namely, the first treatise exclusively devoted to developing the epistle's teaching about the Spirit. Presently, scholarship has focused most of its attention on the epistle's eschatology and Christology, with pneumatology usually being relegated to a few passing remarks. The book argues that the latter notion has been unduly neglected.
