Summary

Author was born during the Great Depression, was a young boy in World War II and a serviceman in the Korean War. He attended college on G.I. Bill and graduated from California State University in 1966. He then went to work for the department of corrections, State of Washington, as a Probation and Parole officer, retiring in 1995. In 2008, his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth, passed away. During the initial years of grief he wrote the poems contained in this book.
