Author Biography


Gerri Kimber is Senior Lecturer in Modernism and Postcolonial Studies at the University of Northampton. She is Chair of the Katherine Mansfield Society and co-editor of Katherine Mansfield Studies. She is the author of Katherine Mansfield: The View from France (2008), and A Literary Modernist: Katherine Mansfield and the Art of the Short Story (2008). She is co-editor of three essay collections: Katherine Mansfield and Literary Modernism (2011), Celebrating Katherine Mansfield: A Centenary Volume of Essays (2011), and Framed: Essays in French Studies (2007).

Angela Smith is Professor Emeritus of English Studies at the University of Stirling. Her books include East African Writing in English (1989), Katherine Mansfield and Virginia Woolf: A Public of Two (1999), Katherine Mansfield: A Literary Life (2000) and editions of Jean Rhys's Wide Sargasso Sea (1997), and Katherine Mansfield Selected Stories (2002).

Anna Plumridge is a doctoral student at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand
