Author Biography

Kay Bishop is associate professor at the state University of New York at Buffalo, where she has served as director of the school Library Media Program and director of the Online MLS Program. Bishop has over 20 years of experience as a school librarian at various grade levels. Her published works inlude Linworth's Connecting Libraries with Classrooms: the Curricular Roles of the Media Specialist, Second Edition; Libraries Unlimated's the Collection Program in Schools: Concepts, Practices, and information sources, fourth Edition; as well as two other books, numerous articles, and chapters in books. Jenny Cahall is an instructional designer for a k-12 educational company in Victor, NY. She has been involved in writing, reviewing, and editing educational products for the past 12years.
