Author Biography

Ira J. Chasnoff is President of Children's Research Triangle and a noted authority on maternal drug use during pregnancy and its effects on infants and children. Also a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Chasnoff has been instrumental in establishing community-based family intervention programs for children in Australia, Denmark, Portugal, the former Soviet Union, and across the United States.Richard F. McGourty has worked as an organizational psychologist since 1982. His work embraces a range of activities, from organizational change efforts and strategic planning to management and development. He has taught at the university level, including master's level students in Loyola University's Center of Organizational Development and has served as an Honorary Fellow to The Centre for Management and Leadership at the University of York, England.
