Summary

Power, Knowledge, and Dissent in Morgenthau's Worldview provides a comprehensive investigation into Hans Morgenthau's life and work. Identifying power, knowledge, and dissent as the fundamental principles that have guided his epistemology, ontology, and political agency, Felix Rösch argues that Morgenthau's lasting contribution to the discipline of International Relations is the central aspect of his worldview: the human condition of politics; and criticizing the depolitization and subsequent dehumanization in modern societies
