Author Biography

Wayne “ Coach Mazz” Mazzoni has been a D1 college coach for more than 30 years and operates a consulting company in Fairfield County, CT coaching and counseling high school players on college scholarship opportunities. He is a regular guest on WFAN, the host of ProBatter’ s Podcast entitled “ And That Is the Game,” and the author of a number of books on the subject, including Getting Recruited: The Definitive Guide to Playing College Sports which is available on Amazon and other books outlets. Adam Battersby is the president of ProBatter Sports, which is fitting since he inspired the product's invention and development as a youth baseball player in Westport, CT. He played three sports (football, wrestling, and baseball) at both Fairfield Country Day School and The Brunswick School before a back injury derailed his plans to play college baseball. After graduating from Providence College as a Business Major in 2001, he joined the nascent company, initially as a sales representative. He eventually assumed control in 2015. Adam resides in Norwalk, CT, with his wife and three children.
