Author Biography

Claire Mooney was until recently a Lecturer in Mathematics Education at the School of Education, University of Southampton. She now lives and lectures in Canada. Lindsey Ferrie is a primary school head teacher in Carlisle. Sue Fox has had extensive experience of teaching all ages from Reception to year 6. She is currently Senior Mathematics Lecturer at the University of Cumbria, Carlisle. Alice Hansen worked Initial Teacher Education for 13 years at the University of Cumbria. Prior to that she taught extensively in primary schools in England and abroad. She is now a consultant in mathematics education. Reg Wrathmell is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education at the University of Winchester. He has extensive experience as a mathematics consultant and provider of mathematics professional development courses for local authorities.
