Recommendations and rules of association concerning use of standard forms of contract, against tendering for contracts without bills of quantities, against submitting priced bills of quantities with tenders, and for use of standard schedules of daywork charges amounted to restrictions within the Restricted Trade Practices Act 1956, s.6. The removal of such restrictions would not deny the public a substantial benefit. The restrictions contrary to the public interest.
