Author Biography

Dr. Brian Innes has been writing about criminal subjects since 1966. After contributing to the weekly publication The Unsolved, he provided a long series on forensic science as well as a number of feature articles for Real Life Crimes. He is the author of Crooks and Conmen, The History of Torture, Death and the Afterlife, Bodies of Evidence (from Reader's Digest), Forensic Science, Major Unsolved Crimes, and Serial Murders. A scientist, Dr. Innes spent many years as a research biochemist and has written extensively on scientific topics.
