Author Biography

N. S. Sisodia is the director general of the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA). He has served as national security council secretariat and secretary to the government of India in the ministries of finance and defense. He is the coeditor of numerous books, including Emerging India: Security and Foreign Policy Perspectives, India and the World, and West Asia in Turmoil: Implications for Global Security. V. Krishnappa is a research fellow at the IDSA. He is a member of editorial committee for the Journal of Defense Studies and the book-review editor for the Strategic Analysis. Priyanka Singh is a research assistant at the IDSA.
